It's really big of you to attack the wizards who left, Gituku, especially in a thread where we can't defend ourselves. In your rant, you stated several things as fact that simply weren't true - okay, I can deal with that since I don't really like you anyway. But you know what? How is abandoning a MUCK for months on end to do your own thing while leaving the running of the place to about five people not selfish in its own right? I never saw you trying to fix anything. Additionally, the things that were removed from the forums were only mine to remove. My forum account was simply downgraded before I got the chance, so I asked the other wizards to do it for me. If you're really that concerned about the KaV, stop bashing everyone else, get over it, and do something. It's not your place to tell people that their brainchildren, areas, and characters aren't their own to play. No love, Ajazi out.

So let me ask you something, Gituku: let's say you work at a job that seems great at first, but then it turns out that you don't find it enjoyable after a few months or so. You dread waking up in the morning because you know you have to go back to that job and slave away at something you find pretty damn dull. Then you're given the option to quit and brighten your life. Would you stay at the job you hate? I sure as hell wouldn't.
And the same goes for this game. The only difference being that this game doesn't pay my bills. I came here for the entertainment. The entertainment has faded. So DAMN me for leaving! Geeze, what a horrible person I am! I think I'll go re-evaluate my life!
Don't go calling me selfish because of a decision to get out of something I don't enjoy. It's selfish (I can do that too, see?) of you to expect players that don't like being here to stick around.

I've read over Gituku's post again and would like to make several additions to my response. Don't attack Kiniro for telling someone to stop soliciting people for TS on this MUCK. FROM THE START, we have been firmly anti-TS. As for you maintaining that she didn't tell anyone? There was a staff thread written specifically to address this particular problem, and she let us know and asked our opinions before doing anything. I don't feel that she should have to wait for the opinions of absent wizzes to enforce an existing rule when everyone else gave the go-ahead. In regards to the threat of using wizstaff logs 'against' me and Chukizo in regards to comments we've made about players: Hey, Gituku? No one likes everyone they meet on the street. It happens. I'll make no excuses about my opinions of people, nor will I apologize for them. HOWEVER - I don't believe I've ever walked up to anyone on this MUCK and said 'No, you're wrong, you're stupid, and I hate you'. The new rules were not devised only by me and Chukizo. I wrote them all, but each was discussed among at least five wizards and at least two players. Also, how the hell is Uru supposed to 'minimalize' RP with Ahadi? Time for a reality check. Tell the whole truth or say nothing at all. Don't expect people to take your crap as gospel.

Also, how the hell is Uru supposed to 'minimalize' RP with Ahadi? Time for a reality check. Tell the whole truth or say nothing at all. Don't expect people to take your crap as gospel. Easy: I offered to -completely leave the MUCK- or not accept the character if that would bring her return, because I felt her presence was more important than mine. I didn't realize there's a secret group who won't talk to me, but instead throw a hissy fit and abandon their responsibilities if there comes a possibility of actually RPing with me and won't take it back even if I leave. She knew about it for weeks, I even poked her about it myself that she should encourage someone she wants in the role to apply, and I also posted repeatedly on chat that people should apply so the best player for the role could get it. I'm the one who poked Zazu to post an MOTD about it ... yet the message I got from her was that "whenever (she) see (me) on-MUCK, (I was) dropping hints about the casting of Ahadi, like it's the biggest deal in history, or like it's something (she) should be concerned with. Which (she was) not..." (direct quote from my IM contact with her, aside from swapping "she" for "I" and "me" for "you" else it would be as confusing as this explanation). Basically, she didn't like me at least partly because I tried to poke her to help find a new player for Ahadi. I'm such a terrible person for doing that. She also hated the fact that I bitched and moaned so much about the lack of RP in Wahamishi in the discussion about de-@grouping a few weeks back ... she also seemed to confuse what I had said in that discussion ... she accused me of blaming Ahadi for the lack of Wahamishi RP, which I never did. Anyone who's heard me bitch and moan about Wahamishi knows I always have and still do blame myself for not doing whatever was necessary as the FC leader of the group to inspire Wahamishi players to get online and RP. I offered to leave the MUCK if she'd come back -- that would drastically minimalize contact with me since she clearly hated me so much (but didn't say a damned thing until she refused to even try to handle it anymore), but she refused even this.

What everyone keeps failing to mention is that Rynoah is getting rid of her characters for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with Ahadi at all. Did you guys even read her post? She's burnt out--and all this drama is partially the cause.
EDIT: And Uchenna, seriously? That big chat we had with Zazu? All you kept talking about was the Wahamishi and how you never got to do anything with it because Ahadi was never on. I have the log--and I will post it if you so desire!

And Bahati? Seriouly? Do it because I didn't. I complained Ahadi wasn't on for me to RP with. I -never- said he was the reason the Wahamishi weren't logging on.
And you didn't read what she wrote at the very beginning of her post as the reason for her leaving:
"Ahadi has been cast, if you weren't already aware. As I'm not terribly fond of the choice, I am resigning as Uru. Wizzes, you may feel free to change the password on the character (I can give you the current one if you like) or whatever it is you need to do. She's up for grabs."
I can also post the IM convo I had with her when I poked her for actually, my gosh, talking to me and telling me what about me so vehemently un-fond of me since for some reason no one wants to tell me the truth in person.
Now, what was her reason for resigning again?

After the fact. I have no recollection of you ever telling me to do this before you were cast. And anyway, those I would have liked to see in the role were unable to do it for one reason or another. Damn me for being unable to muster the legions to app Ahadi!
So maybe you didn't, but I can guarantee that half of your contribution to that discussion was something to the effect of: "Ahadi's other player was BAD! TOTALLY RUINED EVERYTHING!" Which is equally annoying.
And yet, even though the group was not officially disbanded, and we were still given leave to RP as a group despite the lack of @group status, who decided to make Uchenna an OOC character? Instead of continuing to fight to encourage RP in that sector?
Mm, yes, because my leaving the entirety of the MUCK was all your doing. Had nothing to do with the fact that I've become burned out here on KaV. You want the truth, I've been thinking of leaving KaV ever since the wizstaff exodus weeks ago. You can ask anyone that I have spoken to, since you're so fond of bringing IM logs into this. I agreed to remain for at least a week. I did that. I saw nothing entertaining in the game anymore. That is why I left. I gave up Uru because I wasn't fond of the casting choice for Ahadi; I gave up the game because it didn't hold that same spark.
And now, if you must know, I've rescinded and decided to stay on as Sem'Nome, because tonight in the Palandasya TP, I rediscovered the spark in that particular character. So don't worry, you haven't driven me off.

Her reasons for resigning Uru are different than her reasons for getting rid of her other characters. If she feels that playing her FC is going to be an unpleasant experience because of you, that's her opinion and she's entitled to it.
She's not terribly fond of their pick. All that means is she foresees problems playing with you as Uru, so she did the right thing and gave up the character so someone else could have a go. Someone better suited to tolerate your personality.

Damn me for being unable to muster the legions to app Ahadi! Then what did you mean by "Whenever I see you on-MUCK, you're dropping hints about the casting of Ahadi, like it's the biggest deal in history, or like it's something I should be concerned with. Which I'm not, and I wasn't."? To me that sounded like you were complaining about my poking you. I remember you said something at the time, in reply to a poke I made, along the line (I don't recall and didn't log it) of your not having a voice in who would be cast. I don't know if you remember that but I did and I guess I should have taken the hint then that you didn't like me. I consider the role of Ahadi to be important, too important for me in fact but I felt I should apply for it anyway ... I was dreadfully disappointed I was the only applicant. I haven't gotten to see you RP a lot, but it was my impression you were holding Pride Rock together with excellent RP. Knowing I was the cause, even if just a final straw, for you to leave has me even more upset than my failure to inspire RP in Wahamishi. Wahamishi pretty much is. There's no dramatic scene to plan like Palandasya ... there are no players logging on aside from Chuki and the pups on occaision, and she's pretty much moved to other MUCKs it seems. Mm, yes, because my leaving the entirety of the MUCK was all your doing. Had nothing to do with the fact that I've become burned out here on KaV. So don't worry, you haven't driven me off. I'm glad but still sad you wouldn't accept staying on as Uru even if another player more to your liking were cast as Ahadi. I wish I could appeal to you that the players in Pride Rock seem to like you. I wish there were something I could do to convince you I am something more than an annoying nag and I might have decent moments of RP.

I was. Wanna know why? Because they came out of the shit-blue sky. All the time. Like so: Public> Uchenna wonders who Uru's new hubby is gonna be. Public> Uru says, "Your guess is as good as mine." Public> Uru just role-plays with the Ahadi; she doesn't get to choose his player. X3 ---- And some time later: Public> Uru says, "Gerard Butler on Jay Leno tonight! <3" Public> Radi says, "who is he?" Public> Radi says, "sorry if i just offended anyone by not knowing " Public> Uru says, "Only the sexiest man ever." Public> Uchenna no idea either. Public> Uchenna says, "Guess that means I'm disqualified from being Ahadi. " ---- And then you had Uchenna camped out at the base of Pride Rock for a while. Dropping hints about how you had applied for Ahadiohboy!: [OOC] Uchenna says, "Greetings, Queen Uru." Public> Uru says, "Any Pride Rock people online, we'd appreciate you joining us at PR for some RP." Public> Uru says, "Heh. PR . . . RP." Kesh has arrived. [OOC] Uru waves. [OOC] Uchenna says, "lol" [OOC] Uchenna not PR. At least not yet. And might not be. Depends on what the staff thinks. ---- Again, I don't recall anyone poking me to bring in my friends to apply for Ahadi. Just you continuously mentioning how you had applied, bringing it up when I posted things on the pub channel completely unrelated, bringing it up OOCly during the start of an RP. If that's your way of pushing others to apply, fine. Doesn't make it any less annoying. Yes, how fair it would be for me to resign a role and then have the wizzes take away another role just because I had resigned. So fair. Look, you got Ahadi. Be glad you got Ahadi. Now Uru's available, and someone can take on that role. So get the role cast and move on. My resignation is not the end of the world. There are plenty of other players on this MUCK who get along with you and would do great justice to the role of Uru. Get one of them to do it. Fin.

Public> Uru just role-plays with the Ahadi; she doesn't get to choose his player. X3 Was I responsible for Ahadi leaving too? I'm not sure why it was out of the blue sky, since I'd poked Zazu to try and get the word out more about the position being open, and I even asked on pub for people to apply who were interested especially after my roleplay interview. ---- And some time later: Public> Uru says, "Gerard Butler on Jay Leno tonight! <3" Public> Radi says, "who is he?" Public> Uchenna says, "Guess that means I'm disqualified from being Ahadi. " I really don't get what you're saying ... because I don't know who Gerard Butler is, that's another thing bad about me? What I said about being disqualified was meant as a joke, thus the smiley. ---- And then you had Uchenna camped out at the base of Pride Rock for a while. Dropping hints about how you had applied for Ahadiohboy!: [OOC] Uchenna says, "Greetings, Queen Uru." [OOC] Uchenna says, "lol" [OOC] Uchenna not PR. At least not yet. And might not be. Depends on what the staff thinks. So? I RPed a scene as Ahadi and Zazu posted the log on the staff board to see what they thought. I thought others had or would go through the same process but I found out -still- no one had applied. I tried to push Reo to apply but he didn't want to for some reason. I still don't see what I did wrong with that. ---- Again, I don't recall anyone poking me to bring in my friends to apply for Ahadi. Just you continuously mentioning how you had applied, bringing it up when I posted things on the pub channel completely unrelated, bringing it up OOCly during the start of an RP. Yes, how fair it would be for me to resign a role and then have the wizzes take away another role just because I had resigned. So fair. Get one of them to do it. Fin. I can't be glad I got Ahadi because -- as I knew beforehand -- there are a lot of much better players who could have gotten him if they'd only applied and even worse, my getting Ahadi to my shock and surprise as well as Zazu's and everyone else's, would cost the MUCK its Uru.

My reasoning has been previously explained. We've established that I'm a terrible, horrible person. Now we'll move on:
Not my issue, and I'm not shedding a tear.
Uru's still here. I'm just not playing her. Someone else will take over the role of Uru, thus solving this problem. So, again, go about your life as normal, citizens!
This and cat macros = win.
