The sound of gushing waters is prominent in these part of the lands, these lands where the young male has no reason to be in really. He has been lurking around the area, for no apparent reason known even to himself, and how he even got in here is a mystery, but that is not what he will be remembered for. The lion pads along the ravine, slowly and casually as if strolling, and sits down, just because. He could use some excitement, any excitement at all. But he does no more than to gaze upon the clouded skies.
She arrived at the ravine the day before and at a bad note. If Runa would of just listened to her they would be of been in and out without any trouble, but he had to be himself- troublesome. At the ravines edge, Shausha sits in silence and alone, least till the sudden presence of another is felt behind her. A low growl escapes her maw with the idea its one of those Mweny lionesses who felt it was nessicary to follow her. She waits only a moment before peering over a shoulder to the unknown presence. To her surprise, however, its not a lioness but a lion. Falling quiet once more, she observes- Odd.
Haki scans down from the skies, now noticing the lioness before him. He might have realised her presence earlier, but it isn't surprising to find a lioness in this area. He is afterall aware that these lands are occupied, and lionesses are plenty in prides. Moreover this one shouldn't be any more important than the queen he spoke to just a day ago. Unless she lied about her status. No matter. Haki knows that the lioness has sensed his presence, for she is apparently peering back at him. But he gives no attention, for now. He has his own edge of the ravine to sit by.
A while longer yet, the sky blue eyes of Shausha remain on the male with little interest for his lack of apparent motives. Flicking her tail, she blinks then takes her gaze from the lion to the out lands. "I wonder." She says to herself as half a grin appears on her maw. Getting to all four, the lioness turns to the direction of Haki and approaches. "You don't look like one of the pride here... a rogue perhaps?" Let him be rogue for then her reason for nearing him isn't a lost cause.
The voice now captures Haki's attention, not only for it is feminine but for the very fact that she's initiating conversation. He turns only his head to face the lioness who seem intrigued by his presence. "Indeed, I am." The male replies not sounding hostile, but not smiling either. "Does that interest you?" He smirks, only to himself.
"Interest me..." Shausha smiles. "More than you might realize." Closing the gap between them, she stops few a few meters from the male. "Finding a rogue like yourself isn't easy to come by." Her tone at mid level and dearing. "Which brings me to one thing. There is a group of rogues called the... Mashaitani." she says throwing out a random name for themselves. "They feud with the pride here, but there numbers are slim." she looks you over. "In search of rogues like themselves, I offer a position among them to any rogue looking to stride forward. To better themselves as a rogue and live with those of their own kind outside a pride." She stands before you, "Such an offer can be made to you, if your willing to take it." Her words then fade as she waits for a response.
Her words intrigue the male, as his gaze never parted her sky blue eyes since the moment she began to approach him. Perhaps only briefly, to scan her a little, while she looked him over. "Mashaitani..." Haki echoes in a whisper, "a group of rogues, you say?" the male further closes the gap between them, dangerously close in fact for a stranger, but he figured he was wanted here, thus there will be no reason for the female to hurt him. If she ever does, it'll be miscalculation on his side--most unlikely. At the same time he wishes to see the lioness's reaction to his bold approach, perhaps a test of sincerity. He gazes down at her eyes for a moment of silence, while almost feeling her breath brush against his muzzle. "Do you not fear that I may prove...fatal, to your group?" he challenges in a low tone.
The males rather close approach does not strike fear, nor a defensive posture from Shausha. She's been around her share of rogues males, pride ones awell, that it'll take more than close encounters to ruffle her coat. "That is correct." Looking right up to him, she rolls her shoulders before motioning her head from side to side. "Do you not think yourself worthly to join us... " she states. "Proving yourself fatal is your own fault. Those who do not pull their weight are dealt with accordingly. Prove to be weak and you'll fall by our very own paws." A threat maybe, or a spoken truth to say they take little nonsense.
Haki smirks to the lioness's words. Most intriguing. However the decision was pretty much made the moment she gave her offer. It would prove useful to be in a group, whatever their business might be. The young male has nothing better to do for now, anyway. "Very well," he replies, finally smiling. "I accept your offer." Then taking a few steps back to ease the tension, if there was any. "So, how do I go about joining?"
Shausha buts on a smile as she hears that he'll stay. "Thats what I want to here." Taking a step back herself, "First, your going to have to meet up with either Harimu or Kijani, the groups leading males. Should you run into one of them without me, tell them you got the offer from a lioness named Shausha. They should give you no troubles, when they know I've sent you." she nods once. "But, by what i've seen they'll except you in little time." If they do not except the male into the group, than she will.
Haki nods. Harimu or Kijani. The lioness sure makes it sound easy to join this group. Or perhaps they do need some brawn, or brains, whatever they're short of. Or perhaps he's going to be dinner. Much possibilities, but all the more excitement it adds. "Where may I find them?" The young male queries. Gotta at least know where to look.
Sure she made it sound like a walk through the part when it comes to joining, but why mention the little test you have to go through first when you can experience it first hand. "You should be able to find Harimu here soon enough." She looks out across the plains once more wondering whats taking him so long to get here.
Harimu has arrived.
Haki glances out the same general direction as Shausha does, with a slight tilt of his head. "He's coming here?" The male makes a brow raise. "How convenient." He turns back to the lioness, gazing upon her sky blue eyes once more. "Or is our meeting here more than coincidental?"
Yes, the rogue is not far from this place. In fact, you think about blood or/and death and he comes right knocking on your door. So, when someone mentions him, it's probable that one will find him indeed, "Convenient indeed..." The voice of the rogue is heard not so far away, he was almost yelling at the direction of the lioness and the strange male. With heavy quick steps he gets closer to the group, listening and waiting.
Shausha looks back to Haki. "Coincidental.. well, he seems to think so." she says with half a smile as she looks back out where Harimu makes himself known. "Bout time. I understand you want him dead, but theres a time and place." she jokes. "Besides I have something that might put a smile on your face." Turning back to Haki she jerks her head to the nearing rogue. "That is Harimu. Apparently time seems to be on your side."
Haki eyes the approaching male and studies the largely built, over-scarred mass. Quite a large furball he is. "Greetings, Harimu. I am Haki, and I understand you're the leader of the Mashaitani group." Indeed time seems to be on his side, and he wastes none. "I wish to join your group."
"Time and place... We cannot wait for such moment, his arrogance will have him dead in few days." Harimu doesn't joke, he wants to kill the King of this lands... And well, anxious is just a small word. The rogue turns to face the stranger, lifting his head and analizing the stranger, "Haki... Call us brother, our name is something we are not proud of." Yes, he hates his name, or something, "There is one thing we must ask, why... Thou wish to join our group, there must be a reason, tell us."
The lion is quite the furball and thats why Shausha likes him... sure the scars are a turn down; but ones got to look past that. Anyhow, she takes a seat and looks to the two. Listening to Haki use the word Mashaitani, she hmms. They never really gave themselves a name other than 'Blood Brothers'. What would be said if they knew she'd suddenly given them a more reasonable name. Shruging it off, she curls her tail around a side. "Rush into things Harimu, and you may find yourself dead before him." Hari's arrogance has never gone over well with Shausha nor has the whole 'call me brother' ordeal. She calls him what she likes and may be the only one he'll allow. "I will not see you act against him without a proper way to do so, or the numbers to back it up." She then looks back to Haki. "Thus is why I have brought Haki before you. He is willing willing to help us in our endevours, should you give him the chance."
Haki raises a brow to the furball's words. Only slightly, not to be rude, but this one speaks funny. The younger male was about to question who was this 'we' Harimu keeps referring to, but was quickly interrupted by Shausha's... intervention. Haki is quite surprised to see the lioness apparently speaking for him. Has he managed to gain her trust that quickly? Or is the lioness as loggerheads with the furball? Or, are they leading him into some kind of trap? Yet more questions. The young rogue does nothing but stand where he is and await this apparent leader's reply. His face remains expressionless, for it'd probably be the best expression in scenarios like this. But he gives Shausha a glance, just a glance, for what she has said.
Well yeah, the lioness can call him the way she likes, VIP card for her, Brother, Harimu, furball, you name it he purrs. More words coming to make him wonder... Think think think, the King... Yes, Harimu is arrogant, but there's a purpose. This time, it's greed? No, just lust, he just wants the King dead, not the lands or the lionesses or the food, it's the King, Bug should be dead, and Harimu will take care of that sooner or later, "Interesting... We should thank thee for the cause." The rogues says as he looks at the lioness, offering a smile. So she's doing a favor? The more the merrier. Sure, Harimu will want Haki in the group, but questions are always asked. It's funny, one expects something and the other does the same thing. Sure Haki wants a reply, but Harimu also wants to know the purpose. The rogue turns to face the stranger again, nodding, "Then we welcome thee, Haki." The rogue starts walking between the other lions, looking at the path before him, "We will offer thee help if needed, thou art welcome to follows us, gain our trust and thou will be part of the family."
Trust, Shausha hold trust for no one but herself. She only speaks for Haki because anything the rogue has to say couldn't possible get through the thick head of Harimu. She on the other paw.. he listens to her, whether is likes to or not. She knows they need the brunt of more males, but she also knows it's not strength and numbers that prevails; its how its implemented. She needs no thanks for what she does, she does it because she wants to not because someone asks her to. As Harimu acknowledges Haki are part of the group, she eases up. One task completed and many more to go.
For the young rogue things happened pretty quickly. But it seems he got in, and quite effortlessly at that. He had hoped it'd be more of a challenge. Or perhaps there's more to come. As Harimu left, he gives the lioness yet another glance. It could mean a thanks, or it could mean something else. That'll be up to her to figure out, if she bothers to. Being in a group is a whole new experience for Haki. But whereever he is, he still goes his own way.
