I think the idea for this group is good. I agree that maybe it should start out informal. Haing two leopard groups go at each other from the outset would, I think, distract too much from the leonine dramas. Which isn't to say it couldn't be their attitude, just that I don't think we should do an organized Leopard War plot-event.
I do think the idea of having the whole good/neutral leopard tribe be full of wise, learned, spiritual leopard is reasonable. Just as long as they don't all have -powers-.

I'm not a fan of 'powers'... The majority of it would be sneakiness and skill at gathering information, making friends, that sort of thing. A few may have a commune with the spirits or other 'skills', but I'm not about to make an arocity by having super powered kitties running around powergaming.. no.. I'll have a meaningful system in place before it becomes wholey active. Just gotta be sure they'll have a place and a fanbase

OMG. You know what? These guys could totally gather supporters that are against the Amazons!Leopards and lead a 'holy war' against them! They could be utterly determined to purge the lands of "those heathen savages"! =D That's a little... extreme.. but I appreciate the input

That's why I kinda...didn't like it. It's a touchy thing.
Anyway. I like Zazu's idea of one group for the moment. Maybe we can have one giant group first off, then have them split. How would that work though? I'm pretty set on having the Girls as an established group. Maybe the male group could be a community of the ones unwanted/runaways/etc? And that's why they're so docile, is because their envrionment was constrictive even from the start?

I like Chisulo's idea. Maybe the second idea...the group of evil bachelor pad males...could work with adding in Chisu's idea. The females get sick of being just tools and break off to form some other kind of group.

The females get sick of being just tools and break off to form some other kind of group. That sounds backwards. If anything, they'd get tired of doing NOTHING. XD But my end sounds more plausible. Why would females, fed and mostly content, upend that way of life? It seems that the males would have been more likely to jump out of the fire.

I do beleive this is branching off quite far from the original concept I had. Having one evil group and one unplesent group form off of one large, unplesent group just isn't what I was looking for. Perhaps we should just leave the Amazonian group as they are.
My attention is turning more towards Kesh's family which might prove to be just what I was looking for to begin with. I welcome Shaleesa and anyone else that wants to play a kind-hearted non-leonine feline to gather and we can, perhaps, ICly come up with something.

Do either of these groups need to be listed?

They probably should. Just because a group is on the list doesn't mean everyone ICly knows of it. And I like the order/etc of having a file.

I just don't want to end up with twenty and people spreading themselves too thin again.

that's why we're watching things this time. <3 I'm going to make sure anyone who joins my end isn't also in EVERY other group.

Until further notice, Kesh's family is the 'Good spotty group'. As stated, I welcome any cheetahs, leopards, caracals, etc to join up as friends/conspiritors to the serval gang for the sake of rustling up something interesting
