Sabiri, having left the Palandasya lions to pursue a better life in the Pridelands, has taken with her Hukumu’s three infant daughters – his only female offspring, and the light of his life. For the past three nights he has laid awake, contemplating ways to either take revenge against the cubs’ mother or compensate for the loss. Not wanting to ruin the delicate relationship that his brother Chioh has established with Ahadi, he has opted for the latter and is making plans to replace Sabiri and her daughters with four new lionesses of his choosing. After all, only the best females are selected to become a part of the Palandasya harem; lionesses of lesser beauty are welcome to join the pride as huntresses or guards.
Starting Saturday, December 22 (I want to give Amikia a week to sort things out with Ahadi's player so we can wrap things up), Hukumu is sending word across Africa by bird and calling upon king and vagabond alike to send him the most exquisite beauties that their lands have to offer. It doesn’t matter if they’re willing or not; he’ll take them either way. The King likes a challenge.
Of all the lionesses brought to Palandasya, only four will be selected. The creatures responsible for bringing Hukumu his picks will each be rewarded with one request that the King, honour-bound, is required to fulfill.
OOC: To make this plot work, we’re gonna need lionesses. No set limit, but Hukumu will only be choosing four; whether or not your character gets picked depends entirely on IC events. We also need characters who are interested in seeking these lionesses out and bringing them to Hukumu. Remember, if your character brings him a lioness that gets picked, your character gets one request that absolutely cannot be turned down by the King (in theory). Think of the possibilities!
